Madonna & Flowers
Madonna & Flowers are unusual project when for the first time I started my work from "outside". In the Instagram one follower send me a pictures of frame he made and ask if I interested put my art in it. That was a new experience because I have to make art after the frame. So I started my research and wind up with portrait of Madonna you see above.
Now look at the frame:
It is unusual for me working and framed art in rich, heavy and antique looks frames. I have to think out of box, make something what will match. I like this work and enjoyed a process.

Here I am looking for a right medium. Tried oil pastels, collage, monotyping and stencil art. Also I had an awesome assistant during this project — my cat Ginger. He approved blue colour and stencil technique.
Stencil art printing process:
I used water based Speed Ball ink and paper stencil plates. It's a single copy print.
Let's have a look how print and frame works together:
This piece became a part of FAM festival in Dubai. I thought it could look a bit controversial —golden luxury looking frame and modest print. But in the process I realised what behind any facade stands honest, pure and modest soul. This is my Madonna.
Thank you!
